Picasso met the last of his companions,  Jacqueline Roque,  in 1953.   They married in 1961.    She became the image and source of practically all of his late work,   including the series of portraits in linocut,  oil,  pastels,  and crayon shown below.     I find Picasso's blending of full face and profile views in these images to be fascinating,   I copied three of these portraits in the process of learning to cut and print colored reduction linocuts.
